This is an edit of a photo taken by MorningPrint, previously one of my favorite printers, of 85% Cyan as shown in a Pantone process book (”85” color chip) and that of a recent print job (the middle color).They feel that this is a reasonable color shift because they are a gang run printer.
The base CMYK inks are sacrosanct, we can’t even attempt to calibrate if they can’t get any closer than this.I have two print jobs that have to be redone because this discrepancy has made them illegible (both with the same Cyan shade).
Reason of review: Not as described.
